How to use

Place the PLANET GSD-503 on a flat surface or mount it on a wall using the provided brackets. Connect each network device to the switch using Cat5/5e/6 cables; the switch will auto-negotiate link speed (10/100/1000 Mbps) and automatically configure MDI/MDI-X. Connect the DC 5 V power adapter to power the unit. The device operates as a plug-and-play switch—no configuration is required for basic connectivity.

Recommendations

For optimal energy savings, use shorter Ethernet cables (under 20 m) when possible so the GSD-503 can reduce port power based on cable length.
