How to use
Install the switch in a standard 19-inch rack using the included rack-mount brackets. Connect uplink ports to your core or distribution layer using appropriate Gigabit Ethernet cables and connect endpoint devices to the 24 RJ-45 ports. Configure network settings and Layer 3 features through the switch’s management interface or a centralized management system, and enable PoE for ports that require power delivery to attached devices following vendor guidelines.
Recommendations
Place the switch in a ventilated rack space and ensure adequate cooling. Use Cat5e or better cabling for Gigabit links, apply PoE power budgeting to avoid exceeding the switch’s available PoE capacity, and keep firmware updated to maintain security and performance.
