Delivery Information
DistriNode delivers eligible orders across South Africa through courier and supplier fulfilment networks. This page explains how orders move from payment confirmation to supplier allocation, dispatch, tracking and delivery, so customers can understand what to expect before and after checkout.
South Africa wide
We deliver to supported residential, business and collection-capable addresses across South Africa, subject to courier reach, product eligibility and supplier availability.
Multi-supplier sourcing
Orders may be supplied from one or more local or international distributor channels. This allows wider choice, but can affect dispatch timing and parcel grouping.
Clear order updates
Where tracking is available, customers can follow updates through their account, email communication or the DistriNode order tracking system.
Payment and stock checks
Orders are processed after payment confirmation and supplier stock verification. Stock can move quickly, so confirmation happens before fulfilment is finalised.
How Delivery Works
| Stage | What Happens | What Customers Should Know |
|---|---|---|
| StageOrder placed | What HappensThe order is captured with the products, quantities, delivery address and customer details supplied at checkout. | What Customers Should KnowPlease check address, contact number and email carefully. Incorrect details can delay dispatch or delivery. |
| StagePayment confirmed | What HappensPayment status is checked before supplier processing begins. EFT orders may take longer depending on bank clearance. | What Customers Should KnowDispatch timelines normally start after payment is confirmed, not necessarily at the moment the order is submitted. |
| StageSupplier allocation | What HappensDistriNode confirms supplier availability, product eligibility, pricing, warehouse location and dispatch readiness. | What Customers Should KnowProducts from different suppliers may have different lead times and may ship separately where practical. |
| StageDispatch | What HappensThe parcel is handed to the courier or released by the supplier fulfilment channel for delivery. | What Customers Should KnowTracking may update after the courier scans the parcel into its network. |
| StageDelivery | What HappensThe courier attempts delivery to the supplied address during normal route operations. | What Customers Should KnowSomeone authorised should be available to receive the parcel. ID, signature or proof of delivery may be required. |
Estimated, not guaranteed
Delivery times depend on product availability, supplier processing, payment clearance, warehouse location, courier capacity, destination area and any special handling requirements. Product pages or checkout may show delivery estimates where available, but these are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.
Courier reach matters
Outlying areas, farms, mines, restricted-access sites and remote towns may take longer or require alternative delivery arrangements. If a courier cannot deliver to a supplied location, DistriNode may contact the customer to arrange a workable option.
Delivery Costs And Fees
Shown before payment
Delivery charges, where applicable, are calculated or displayed before order completion based on the products, destination and available shipping methods.
Special handling
Heavy, bulky, fragile or supplier-direct items may require special courier handling and may carry additional delivery costs where shown or confirmed.
Address updates
Delivery address changes after order placement may not always be possible once supplier processing or courier dispatch has started.
Stock, split shipments and supplier lead times
DistriNode aggregates a broad catalogue from multiple suppliers. Some orders may include products from different warehouses or supplier channels. Where this happens, the order may be split, partially delayed, substituted only with customer approval, or adjusted if supplier stock changes before fulfilment is completed.
- A paid order is still subject to final supplier availability checks.
- If an item becomes unavailable, DistriNode may offer a refund, alternative or revised lead time.
- International or supplier-special items can take longer than local warehouse items.
- Delivery estimates should be read together with the product, checkout, Terms and Returns pages.
Receiving Your Delivery
Before dispatch
Make sure the delivery address, contact person, phone number and email address are accurate when placing the order.
On arrival
Check the parcel for visible damage, tampering or missing packages before accepting where possible. Report concerns promptly with photos.
After delivery
Keep packaging, invoices, waybills and photos if a return, warranty claim or delivery investigation may be needed.
Track updates where available
Customers can monitor order progress through their account or the Order Tracking System where a secure tracking link, Order ID or Secret Key is available.
Delivery issues and returns
If a parcel is damaged, incorrect, missing items or appears defective, please follow the process on the Returns & Refunds page so the matter can be assessed properly.
Common Delivery Questions
Can my order be delivered faster?
Express or priority handling depends on product availability, supplier readiness, courier options and destination. If urgent delivery is required, contact DistriNode before placing the order so availability can be checked.
Why did only part of my order arrive?
Some orders are fulfilled from multiple suppliers or warehouses. If split delivery is used, remaining items may follow separately or be updated through the order process.
What if no one is available?
Courier reattempt rules vary by carrier and area. Missed deliveries may cause delays or additional charges if repeated attempts, redirection or storage are required.
Can I use a business address?
Yes, where the courier can access the location during business hours and an authorised person is available to sign for the parcel.
