2. Acceptance of these terms

You accept these terms when you use the website, create an account, place an order, submit payment, save a Price Alert or Stock Alert, use Reward Rands, contact us about an order or otherwise interact with the store.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the website or place an order.

3. Legal capacity and lawful use

You may use DistriNode only if you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under South African law. If you use the website on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that entity.

You may not use the website for unlawful purposes, fraudulent activity, unauthorised access, system interference, scraping that harms the platform, abuse of promotions, abuse of rewards, misrepresentation, resale activity that breaches applicable law or any activity that interferes with other customers.

4. Accounts and customer responsibilities

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your username, password and devices secure. Notify us if you suspect unauthorised account access.

Accurate information

You must provide correct billing, delivery, email and contact details. Incorrect details can delay or prevent fulfilment.

5. Product information, images and specifications

We aim to provide useful product information, but product titles, images, descriptions, specifications, attributes, compatibility notes, manuals and related content may originate from suppliers, distributors, manufacturers or third-party data sources.

6. Pricing, stock and availability

Prices are displayed in South African Rand unless stated otherwise. Prices may change due to supplier pricing, exchange rates, promotions, import costs, data updates, system corrections or product availability.

If a pricing error is discovered, DistriNode may correct the price, cancel the affected item, request customer confirmation at the corrected price or refund payment already received for that affected item.

Stock is not reserved by browsing

Adding a product to your cart, wishlist, alert list or account area does not reserve stock and does not guarantee that the product will still be available later.

Stock is subject to supplier confirmation, payment status, order processing sequence and any distributor-side availability changes.

7. Orders and order acceptance

8. Payment terms

Payment methods available at checkout may include PayFast, EFT and other methods that DistriNode makes available from time to time. Third-party payment providers may have their own terms, verification steps and processing rules.

Orders may only proceed once payment is authorised, received, verified or otherwise accepted according to the selected payment method. EFT orders may be delayed until funds reflect and are matched to the order.

DistriNode may cancel orders where payment is not received within a reasonable time, where proof of payment cannot be verified, where fraud is suspected or where a payment provider declines or reverses the transaction.

9. Taxes and invoices

Prices and tax treatment are displayed according to the store configuration and applicable checkout information. Where VAT applies, it will be reflected in the order totals or tax invoice information.

Business customers are responsible for checking invoice, company, VAT and billing details before finalising an order.

10. Delivery, collection and fulfilment

Delivery options, fees and estimated timeframes may vary based on product source, supplier lead time, order size, destination, courier availability, payment status and any special handling requirements.

Estimated lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Multiple products in one order may have different lead times, and the order may be processed according to the slowest item or split where appropriate.

Customers must provide a valid delivery address, recipient name, phone number and any access instructions. Couriers generally cannot deliver to incomplete addresses, unreachable recipients or locations where access is restricted.

11. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Before fulfilment

Cancellation requests may be considered before supplier processing, dispatch, special-order procurement or irreversible fulfilment steps begin.

After delivery

Returns, exchanges, repairs, replacements, credits and refunds are handled according to the Returns & Refunds page and applicable law.

Condition matters

Products may need to be returned complete, clean, unused where required, with packaging, accessories, manuals, serial numbers and proof of purchase.

Some products may be non-returnable, limited-return, hygiene-sensitive, consumable, custom, special order, digital, license-based, opened, installed, used or subject to supplier/manufacturer assessment. 12. Warranties and manufacturer support

Product warranty coverage depends on the manufacturer, supplier, product category, product condition, serial number, region and applicable warranty terms. DistriNode may assist with warranty facilitation where appropriate, but manufacturer or supplier assessment may be required.

Warranty claims may be refused where damage is caused by misuse, incorrect installation, power events, liquid damage, physical damage, modification, unauthorised repair, consumable wear, missing serial numbers, missing accessories or use outside product specifications.

13. Compatibility-sensitive purchases

Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility before purchasing products such as PC components, memory, CPUs, motherboards, server parts, networking equipment, cables, chargers, batteries, printer consumables, software, licenses and replacement parts.

If you are uncertain, contact us before purchase and include the model numbers, existing device details and intended use.

For an order already placed, the terms and policies in force at the time of that order will generally apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or is clearly beneficial to the customer.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute should first be raised with DistriNode so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve it. If it cannot be resolved informally, it may be handled through the applicable South African dispute resolution or court process.
