How to use

Mount the ISW-504PT on a DIN rail or wall surface in a suitable enclosure or cabinet. Connect a 12–48 V DC power source to the dual power inputs (observe wiring guidance in the installation manual; polarity is reversible) and verify the power LED. Plug network devices such as IP cameras, wireless APs or VoIP phones into the PoE ports using standard Cat5e/Cat6 cables; use the uplink port for connection to the core network or NVR. Select the required DIP switch mode (Standard, VLAN or Extend) to match your deployment needs and ensure devices receive power within the PoE budget limits.

Recommendations

Use Category 5e or better shielded/unshielded Ethernet cabling and plan PoE power distribution so the cumulative power draw of attached devices does not exceed the 120 W total budget. For installations in exposed or high-interference sites, place the switch in an earthed metal cabinet and ensure power sources are within the specified 12–48 V DC range.
