The PLANET FST-802 is a network media converter that converts between 10/100BASE-TX copper Ethernet and 100BASE-FX fiber optic connections. How to use

Install the FST-802 by connecting the copper Ethernet device to the RJ-45 TP port and the fiber optic cable to the SC port. Power the unit with the supplied 5 V DC adapter. Use the DIP switches to set duplex and speed modes or leave auto-negotiation enabled. If used within a PLANET media converter chassis, slide the module into an appropriate slot and monitor its status via the chassis RS-232 console or web interface.
