Network transmitter & receiver PLANET LRP-101C-KIT

PLANET Long Reach PoE solution extends Ethernet data and injects power simultaneously to remote 802.3af/at PoE powered devices beyond the 100 m limit of standard Ethernet. The LRP-101C-KIT is a single-port PoE over coaxial extender kit that transmits data and power up to 1,000 m (3,280 ft) over existing 75 Ω coaxial cable and an additional 100 m over Ethernet cable to a remote PoE IP camera, PoE wireless AP or access control system. The kit is housed in compact metal enclosures and is designed for plug-and-play deployment in climatically demanding environments with an operating temperature range of -20 to 70 °C.

How to use

Install the LRP-101CH injector near your power source and connect its coaxial output to the LRP-101CE extender using existing 75 Ω coaxial cable. Connect the LRP-101CE to the remote PoE device with a standard Ethernet cable (up to 100 m). Power the injector; the system will deliver data and up to 25 W of PoE power to the connected PD. No configuration is required for basic point-to-point operation; status LEDs on the front panels indicate link and power conditions.

Recommendations

Use high-quality 75 Ω coaxial cable and proper connectors to maintain signal integrity over long distances. For optimal performance, verify cable condition and minimize physical damage or kinks. Ensure total Ethernet cable length from extender to PD does not exceed 100 m and confirm the PD’s power class to verify adequate power delivery.
