How to use

Connect a 52–56 V DC power adapter to the injector’s DC input, plug the network source into the Ethernet port and the powered-device cable into the Ethernet+DC port. The device negotiates PoE automatically with compliant PDs; if a PD is non-compliant, enable Legacy mode or allow the injector to enter Force mode to supply up to 60 W. Observe the front-panel LEDs to verify PoE mode and current power usage during operation.

Recommendations

For optimal operation, use Cat5e or Cat6 cabling of good quality for runs up to 100 meters, ensure the connected PD supports the required voltage or use the recommended POE-173S splitter for DC output conversion, and monitor the PoE power usage LEDs to avoid exceeding the injector’s power budget when multiple high-power PDs are connected.
