The PLANET IPOE-175 is an industrial-grade, IP67-rated single-port 802.3bt PoE++ injector that delivers up to 60 W over a Gigabit Ethernet connection. Designed for powered devices that require higher power, it transmits both data and PoE over a single UTP cable and is housed in a rugged aluminum case to withstand harsh outdoor and industrial environments.

How to use

Mount the IPOE-175 in a suitable outdoor or industrial location and connect a compliant 24–56 V DC power source to the injector's DC input. Attach the data source (switch or router) to the data input RJ45 port and connect the PoE output RJ45 (via the waterproof gland if installed) to the powered device using Cat5/5e/6 cable. The injector will provide both Gigabit Ethernet data and up to 60 W of PoE power over a single cable up to 100 m between the injector and the PoE PD or compatible PoE++ splitter.

Recommendations

Use shielded Cat5e/6 cables for best performance in outdoor or high-interference environments, verify that connected PDs accept 802.3bt/54 V input, and plan power budgeting with margin for long runs or multiple devices. For permanent outdoor installations ensure the RJ45 gland is properly sealed and the device is mounted within its specified temperature range.
