How to use

Turn off the computer and install the card into an available PCIe x1 slot on the motherboard. Connect the RJ45 cable to your network and, if required, attach the 15-pin power connector to provide additional power to the USB ports. Power on the system, install drivers from the included CD or the vendor website, and verify that the LAN and USB ports are recognized by the operating system. Configure network settings (IP, WOL, jumbo frames) in the OS or network management tools as needed.

Recommendations

For stable high-speed transfers, use quality Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cables and connect USB devices that require significant power only after attaching the additional 15-pin power connector. Enable Wake-on-LAN and jumbo frames in both OS and network equipment when required by your application.
