How to use

Mount the cAP ax on the ceiling in a central position to minimise obstacles between the device and client devices. Connect a Gigabit Ethernet cable to provide network connectivity and power via PoE-in, or install a PoE injector/switch if required. Configure wireless settings, security and network services using the device’s RouterOS v7 interface or by using CAPsMAN for centralized management. If needed, use the PoE-out port to power another network device such as a switch or IP camera.

Recommendations

Install cAP ax units higher than large metal objects and away from enclosed metal cabinets or reflective glass when possible.
