How to use

Mount the EAP610-Outdoor using the provided mounting kit in a location with clear line-of-sight to the coverage area. Connect the access point to a PoE switch or the included PoE adapter via the RJ-45 port to power and network the device. Use the Omada app or the Omada SDN controller to adopt the AP into your network, configure SSIDs, security (WEP/WPA/WPA2/WPA3) and radio settings, and monitor client connections. For mesh deployments, add additional Omada EAPs and enable Mesh mode to extend coverage without extra cabling.

Recommendations

Place the unit at an elevated, unobstructed position to maximize coverage and reduce interference. Ensure Ethernet cabling and PoE equipment are rated for outdoor or protected installation where needed, and keep firmware updated through the Omada controller or app to maintain stability and security.
