The InLine® Dual Gigabit Network Card PoE+offers a high-performance and versatile solutionfor professional use in servers, workstations and AV applications. With two RJ45 Gigabit interfaces, it enables a reliable 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet connectionand supports modern network technologies for optimized performance and energy efficiency.
Thanks to PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at) with up to 30 W per port, it is ideal for IP cameras, access points and VoIP telephones, which can be supplied with power directly via the network cable - without a separate power source.
Additional features such as VLAN support (802.1Q), Jumbo Frames up to 9K, Flow Control (802.3x)and Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq)ensure optimized network performance and efficient use of system resources.

How to use

Install the card into an available PCIe x4 (or larger) slot on the host motherboard and secure it with the supplied standard or low-profile bracket. Connect network devices to the RJ45 ports using appropriate Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher for Gigabit). If using PoE, ensure the connected devices support PoE/PoE+ and verify the host system and cabling deliver the required voltage (44–57 V DC). Install drivers from the supplied CD or download up-to-date drivers for your operating system (Windows, Windows Server, Linux kernel ≥2.6.30, FreeBSD, virtualization platforms).

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit operation and PoE+ delivery use Cat5e or better cabling and keep cable runs ≤100 m. Verify power budget per port and overall system power requirements before connecting multiple PoE devices. For virtualized environments enable VMDq and RSS in the driver to improve performance across multiple VMs.
