PLANET IVC-234GPT is a network transmitter and receiver designed to extend Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) over VDSL2 links. Housed in an IP30 aluminium enclosure with aluminium/blue finish, the compact unit provides four 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports with integrated IEEE 802.3af/802.3at PoE injector functionality, plus one RJ11 phone jack and one BNC connector for VDSL2 transmission. The device converts and forwards Ethernet and PoE over existing coaxial cable or telephone wire to enable long-distance connectivity for remote IP devices.

How to use

Install one IVC-234GPT at each end of the copper/coaxial link and set one device to CO mode and the other to CPE mode using the built-in DIP switch. Connect the local network or PoE source to the RJ45 ports on the CO-side unit; connect the remote devices to the RJ45 ports on the CPE-side unit. Use the RJ11 or BNC connector for the VDSL2 uplink on each unit as required. Monitor port and system LEDs during setup to verify link status and PoE delivery.
