POR-1220 is a Gigabit PoE-Plus repeater designed to extend the reach of outdoor PoE (802.3af/at) networks beyond the standard 100 m. How to use

Connect a Gigabit PoE-Plus switch or other PSE to the POR-1220 IN RJ-45 port using standard Ethernet cable for the first 100 m run. From the POR-1220 OUT PoE port connect your PoE-powered device to receive power and data for an additional 100 m. Use the OUT non-PoE port for a data-only connection when power is not required. To extend range beyond 200 m, daisy-chain additional POR-1220 units by connecting the next unit’s IN port to an OUT port of the previous repeater. Ensure the PSE provides sufficient wattage for connected PDs; maximum achievable distance depends on the PD power requirement.
