How to use

Connect the HDMI, USB and audio/mic cables from the InLine KVM to each computer using the supplied fixed cable sets. Attach your monitor to the HDMI output and plug your keyboard and mouse into the front USB ports. Power the unit via the DC input if required. Switch between connected computers by pressing the wired QuickSwitch button, using keyboard hotkeys or by installing and using the included switching client software on each computer; the software shows the active port in the system tray.

Recommendations

For optimal video performance at 4K resolution use high-quality HDMI cables and ensure both connected computers output the desired resolution. Install the supplied switching client on Windows or macOS systems to enable menu-driven switching and visual active-port indication. Avoid exceeding USB 2.0 bandwidth limits when connecting multiple high-speed USB devices through the KVM.
