The InLine KVM Desktop Switch was specially developed for the use of two monitors (2x HDMI) on four multimedia computers. With the InLine KVM Desktop Switch you can completely control four PCs with only one USB keyboard, mouse and two monitors. This dual monitor HDMI KVM switch supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 (4K) at 60Hz, for maximum comfort in adapting to your display needs.
With TTU emulation technology integrated into a new ASIC chip, the dual monitor HDMI KVM switch is able to offer complete versatility in meeting the functional requirements of all types of modern keyboards and mice. It features a 2 channel stereo sound for full sound functions. Its advanced audio & microphone switching function also gives you an uninterrupted multimedia experience during KVM operation (e.g. you can listen to music from one PC while operating another). Please note:
The InLine KVM Switches are designed for office and home office applications as well as for monitoring and controlling multiple computers from one workstation. However, the KVM Switches are not suitable for gaming accessories such as mice and keyboards with programmable special keys, nor are gaming monitors with high frequencies of 120 Hz or more supported. The hot key function for the keyboard only works on the designated console USB port, connected via the USB hub ports, hot key control is not possible.

How to use

Connect two HDMI cables from each computer to the corresponding input sets on the KVM switch and connect the USB keyboard and mouse to the console USB ports. Attach HDMI cables from the switch to the two monitors and connect speakers/microphone to the audio ports if required. Plug in the supplied 12V DC power adapter. Switch between connected computers using the device’s switching method (hotkey via the designated console USB port or the front-panel control if available).

Recommendations

Designed for office and monitoring use: do not expect full compatibility with gaming keyboards or mice that have programmable special keys, and do not use this device with gaming monitors requiring refresh rates of 120 Hz or higher. Hotkey control works only from the designated console USB port, not via the additional USB hub ports.
