Directional antenna QuWireless AX12M

The QuWireless AX12M is a directional multi-band antenna system that combines LTE MIMO capability with integrated Wi‑Fi, GPS and Bluetooth reception. With a maximum gain of 6 dBi and vertical polarization, it covers a wide range of cellular and wireless frequencies (0.694–0.96 / 1.7–2.2 / 2.2–2.7; 2.4–2.5 / 4.7–6 GHz) to support improved link performance in outdoor installations. The unit is supplied in a weather-resistant enclosure sized 392 mm (width and depth) by 99 mm (height) and is intended for use with PoE/LAN connections. The antenna assembly accepts installation of Teltonika RUTX12 or RUTX14 routers inside the enclosure to create an integrated all‑in‑one solution for mobile and fixed network deployments.

How to use

Mount the AX12M at an appropriate outdoor location with clear line of sight toward the target cellular or Wi‑Fi infrastructure. Install the compatible router inside the enclosure following the manufacturer’s instructions for securing the device and routing PoE/LAN cabling through the weatherproof entry points. Connect LTE modem SMA leads or MIMO connections as required and attach any external connectors for GPS or Bluetooth antennas if applicable. Ensure cable glands and seals are tightened to maintain the enclosure’s weather resistance. After installation, verify signal levels and adjust orientation to optimize directional LTE performance.

Recommendations

For best results, place the antenna at elevated positions and avoid obstructions. When used with a compatible router installed inside the enclosure, verify that the router’s antenna connections match the AX12M’s connector layout and that all seals are properly tightened to preserve weather protection.
