The TP-Link EAP115-Wall is a 2.4 GHz Wireless N wall-plate access point that delivers up to 300 Mbps throughput in a slim, 11 mm white casing. How to use

Detach the faceplate of the room junction box using a screwdriver, then remove the faceplate of the access point. Connect an in-wall Ethernet cable to the Uplink+POE port on the EAP115-Wall. Secure the access point to the wall using the supplied nails, then press the faceplate back into position. If PoE is not available from the switch, use a compatible PoE injector. After physical installation, configure the device with Omada Software Controller, Omada Cloud Controller (OC200) or the Omada mobile app.

Recommendations

Place one EAP115-Wall per room for consistent signal strength and to provide each room with its own private SSID where required. Use Omada centralized management to apply security policies (WPA2, RADIUS) and monitor network performance. For best results, ensure the in-wall Ethernet cable and PoE source meet 802.3af specifications.
