How to use

Connect IP cameras to the NVR's PoE+ ports using Ethernet cables to provide both power and data. Install a compatible SATA HDD (up to 10 TB) into the device to enable continuous recording. Use the HDMI output to connect a monitor for live view and local playback, or access the system remotely via the VIGI app, web UI, or VIGI Security Manager. Configure recording schedules, motion detection, and playback through the user interface; the device also supports automatic discovery for new VIGI cameras.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term recording, use a surveillance-grade SATA HDD and configure retention and overwrite settings according to your storage needs. Place the NVR in a ventilated location such as a rack or on/under a desk and ensure network access for remote monitoring. Verify camera compatibility via ONVIF when integrating third-party cameras.
