The InLine® interface card M.2 Key B+M to 4x SATA connectoris a high-performance storage solutionthat enables the expansion of SATA storage devices. It allows the operation of an M.2 SATA SSD(Key B+M) and also provides four SATA 6 Gb/s portsfor additional storage devices.
Thanks to RAID support (RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 10, HyperDuo), the card can be used for maximum speed, reliability or automatic SSD/HDD caching combinations. The Hot Plug and Hot Swapfunctionality allows drives to be swapped during operationwithout having to shut down the system.
The M.2 SSD is powered directly via the M.2 slot, while the SATA ports are connected via external cables. LED indicatorsshow the operating status of the ports, and support for Port Multiplier technologyallows multiple drives to operate simultaneously on a single SATA port.

How to use

Insert the interface card into a compatible M.2 slot (Key B, M or B+M supporting PCIe) on the mainboard. Mount one M.2 SATA SSD into the card's M.2 slot and connect additional SATA drives to the four 7-pin SATA connectors using the supplied SATA cables. Connect the SATA cables to free SATA ports on the mainboard. Ensure the M.2 SSD receives power from the M.2 slot and that SATA ports are cabled externally. Configure RAID settings in the system or controller according to requirements; no additional drivers are required for supported Windows and Linux versions.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a mainboard M.2 slot that supports PCIe lanes and ensure available SATA ports for the external connections. Verify RAID configuration and backup critical data before creating arrays. Use compatible M.2 SATA SSD sizes (2230–2280) or mSATA modules as specified and observe the operating temperature range.
