The InLine PCIe interface card with JMB585 controller is the ideal solution for expanding your system with up to five additional SATA ports. The card uses a PCIe x16 interface, with two PCIe lanes available according to standard 3.1a for maximum bandwidth. The included adapter cards allow M.2 SATA SSDs with Key B or B+M to be securely and efficiently integrated into existing storage systems.
All common form factors such as 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 are supported – perfect for compact and powerful storage solutions. Each of the five interfaces delivers up to 6 Gb/s according to SATA 3.2. In addition, important functions such as AHCI, Native Command Queue (NCQ), port multiplication, and power-saving modes (slumber/partial) are supported.

Thanks to staggered boot-up and supported command structure, the system remains stable even with multiple drives. How to use

Power down the host system and insert the card into an available PCIe x16 slot. Attach the supplied M.2-to-SATA adapter cards to the M.2 SATA SSDs (B-key or B+M-key) in the appropriate form factor, secure heat sinks and fasten the adapters into the card. Connect each adapter to the card with the provided SATA cables, attach the low-profile bracket if needed, then power on the system. Install any required drivers or let the operating system detect the new AHCI-compatible storage devices.

Use compatible M.2 SATA SSDs (B-key or B+M-key) in supported sizes and ensure adequate cooling for multiple drives.
