POR-1100 is a PoE repeater designed to extend Power over Ethernet (PoE) links beyond the standard 100 m cable length. It accepts 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 connections and forwards both data and PoE power to the remote device, enabling longer cable runs up to 200 m without additional local power.

How to use

Connect the upstream PoE cable from the PoE switch or injector to the POR-1100 input RJ-45 port. Connect the downstream RJ-45 port to the powered device using standard Cat5/5e/6 cable. The POR-1100 will receive power from the PSE and forward both data and PoE power to the remote device, effectively extending the reach by approximately 100 m per unit. No software configuration or external power supply is required.

Recommendations

For high-power PDs (devices requiring more than 15.4 W), use POR-1100 together with a compatible high-power PoE injector (for example POI-4000) to ensure sufficient power delivery when extending the run. Verify cable quality and overall link budget to maintain reliable performance over the extended distance.
