PLANET LRP-822CS is a managed Gigabit Long Reach PoE switch designed to extend Ethernet and PoE over existing coaxial cable infrastructure to remote IP devices. It provides 8 BNC Long Reach PoE injector ports, 2 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and 2 SFP slots, supports IPv4/IPv6 dual stack and a Layer 2/4 Gigabit switching engine. How to use

Install the LRP-822CS in a standard 19-inch rack and connect the uplink to your NVR, server or backbone switch via the RJ-45 or SFP ports. Use the 8 BNC ports to connect to PLANET Long Reach PoE Extenders (for example LRP-101CE) over existing coaxial cables; each extender then connects to an IP camera, wireless AP or access control device via Ethernet. Configure IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), VLANs, PoE schedules and PD Alive Check through the web management interface or via SNMP/CLI. Monitor PoE consumption with the built-in power usage chart and set PoE schedules or scheduled power recycling as needed.
