How to use

Install the WGS-4215-8P2S on a wall, inside a wall enclosure or on a DIN rail using the provided mounting options. Connect PoE-capable devices to the RJ-45 ports and uplink the switch to the network core via the SFP slots or copper ports. Access the management interface through the web GUI, Telnet or SNMP to configure VLANs, QoS, link aggregation, PoE schedules and security policies. Use the SFP DDM and management tools to monitor optical transceiver parameters and link status.

Recommendations

Configure PD alive check and scheduled power recycling for critical PoE devices (IP cameras, APs) to improve uptime.
