How to use

Mount the switch on a DIN rail or secure it to a wall and connect DC 48–56 V power, ensuring redundant power sources if required. Connect network devices to the Gigabit PoE ports using Cat5e/6 cables for both power and data, and install SFP modules in the mini-GBIC slots when fiber uplinks are needed. Configure network settings, VLANs, security policies, PoE schedules and Modbus TCP settings via the built-in web GUI, console or SNMP management. Use the ONVIF discovery tool in the GUI to locate and manage IP cameras and other ONVIF devices.

Recommendations

For reliable operation in industrial deployments, provide redundant power input, enable the redundant ring (G.8032) for critical paths, schedule periodic PoE recycling for cameras or APs to reduce crashes, and use PoE scheduling to save energy.
