LevelOne PoE over Hybrid Cable Receiver, 4 PoE Outputs, Indoor/Outdoor

The LevelOne PFE series uses a hybrid fiber-and-copper cable to transmit data and power together over long distances. It supports delivery up to 6,800 ft (2 km) to a remote receiver that provides high-power PoE output for IP surveillance and other network devices. Rugged outdoor variants (PFE-1011R / PFE-1014R) offer the same performance inside an IP66-rated waterproof housing and operate across a wide temperature range from -40°C to 60°C.

How to use

Install the hybrid fiber-and-copper cable between the power/data source and the remote receiver location. Choose the appropriate PFE model with one or four PoE outputs according to the number of devices to power. Terminate connections following LevelOne installation guidelines, power the local unit, and verify PoE output at the remote receiver. For outdoor deployment, mount the IP66-rated receiver in a protected location and ensure cable entry points are sealed.

Recommendations

Use outdoor-rated PFE-1011R or PFE-1014R models for installations exposed to dust, rain or extreme temperatures. For links longer than 450 m with high-power devices, confirm device power requirements and the expected PoE power at the receiver to ensure sufficient supply.
