Unlike conventional USB or HDMI extenders that rely on direct copper runs or proprietary protocols, this InLine KVM over IP transmitter turns your keyboard, mouse, and Full HD display into a network-accessible resource. It encodes HDMI video and USB HID signals into standard Ethernet packets, so you can operate a PC or server from up to 150 metres away over ordinary Cat5e/6/7 cabling—or even across a managed network switch for point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint configurations.

In daily use

Place the transmitter near the computer or media player you need to control. Connect the HDMI output of the source to the transmitter's HDMI input, attach the USB Type-B cable to a free USB port on the source, and plug your keyboard and mouse into the two USB Type-A ports. A local HDMI monitor can be connected to the loop-out port for direct verification. Run a Cat5e/6/7 cable from the RJ45 port to a network switch or directly to a compatible receiver (sold separately). The transmitter is powered by the included 5V/2A adapter and can be mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf thanks to its sturdy metal enclosure.
