How to use

Connect the sender unit to the host PC using the required video and USB or PS/2 connections for keyboard and mouse, then connect the receiver to the user’s display and peripherals. Link the two units with a single Cat cable rated for the installation distance and ensure both units are powered. After connection, configure display settings on the host PC as needed; the extender preserves EDID information so native resolutions are maintained where supported.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality, properly shielded Cat cable (Cat6a or better recommended) for reliable performance at longer distances and to maintain the full 18 Gbps bandwidth.
