Wyrestorm 1080p HDMI-over-UTP Extender with IR and PoC

The Wyrestorm EX-40-G3 is a professional-grade HDMI extender that transmits 1080p Full HD video, audio, and IR control signals over a single Cat5e/6/7 UTP/FTP cable up to 70 meters (230 feet). With bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC) and IR pass-through, this extender simplifies installation by eliminating the need for local power at both ends and enabling remote control of source or display devices. Housed in a durable metal enclosure, it is ideal for residential, commercial, and educational AV installations where reliable long-distance signal distribution is required.

Advantages

This extender offers a cost-effective and flexible solution for extending HDMI signals over long distances using standard network cabling. The bi-directional PoC feature allows power to be supplied from either the transmitter or receiver, reducing cable clutter and installation complexity. Bi-directional IR control enables seamless operation of source devices from the display location and vice versa. The metal housing provides robust protection and supports surface mounting for discreet integration into any environment.
