Techly IDATA-EXT-676 AV transmitter & receiver Black

The Techly IDATA-EXT-676 AV transmitter and receiver transmits HDMI signals over long distances using Cat5e/6/6A/7 network cable. The kit includes a transmitter and a receiver and supports up to 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution at distances up to 70 m. It also supports bidirectional IR passback with a frequency range of 20–60 kHz and is supplied with a 5 V input voltage. The compact black housing is suitable for integration into AV installations where a wired HDMI extension is required.

How to use

Connect the HDMI source to the transmitter unit’s HDMI input and use a compatible Cat5e/6/6A/7 cable to link the transmitter and receiver over the required distance (up to 70 m for 4K). Connect the display(s) to the receiver’s HDMI outputs. Power both units with the supplied 5 V adapters. If required, place IR emitters/receivers at the transmitter and receiver ends to enable bidirectional IR control between the remote and the source device.

Recommendations

For best results use Cat6 or higher cabling and avoid running the network cable in parallel with high-power electrical lines. Verify cable quality and connectors to maintain stable 4K transmission; for distances near the maximum, test the setup with the intended display and source to confirm signal integrity.
