The LevelOne AVE-93xx series Cat.5 Audio/Video Extenders transmit audio and video signals from a PC or DVD player to remote plasma or LCD monitors using Cat.5/6/7 cabling. How to use

Connect the AVE-93xx transmitter to the source device (PC or DVD player) using the appropriate PC or TV cable kit. Run Cat.5/6/7 cable from the transmitter to the remote AVE-9300 receiver; for multiple locations or longer distances, insert AVE-9304A repeaters and cascade up to three levels. Attach the receiver output to the remote monitor or projector. Power on all units and, if necessary, use the receiver/repeater video gain and focus controls to optimize image quality.

Recommendations

Use high-quality Cat.5e or Cat.6 cabling and the correct cable kit for your source (VGA or Composite/S-Video). For maximum resolution (2048x1536) and stable HDTV transmission, keep individual link runs within 300 m and use cascade repeaters only when longer reach is required. Adjust video gain and focus at the receiver when extending signals over long distances.
