The Gembird LC-PTF-01/10 is a pack of 10 modular RJ-45 (8P8C) wire connectors designed for F/UTP (FTP) shielded twisted-pair cables. The connectors feature a pass-through design that allows each conductor to be inserted completely through the plug and exit at the front, making it easy to verify correct wiring order and to push the connector down over the cable jacket for a tighter rear seating. Gold-plated 2-fork internal contacts support both solid and stranded LAN cables and help improve electrical contact and performance. Connectors are available in brown, silver and transparent finishes and each connector weighs approximately 17 g.

How to use

Prepare the cable by removing the outer jacket and maintaining as much of the shield and twist as practical. Insert each conductor fully through the connector so the wires protrude from the front; verify the wiring order (e.g., T568A or T568B) visually before seating the conductors into the contact slots. Push the connector down over the cable jacket to reduce the exposed untwisted length, then crimp using a compatible RJ-45 modular plug crimping tool. After crimping, check the termination and continuity with a cable tester.
