The EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 RTX 3070 D-RGB is a second-generation full-cover GPU water block designed for EVGA FTW3 RTX 3070 graphics cards based on NVIDIA Ampere architecture. It cools the GPU core, VRAM, power stages and chokes in the VRM using an Open Split-Flow cooling engine with an optimized fin and jet-plate geometry. The block has a nickel-plated electrolytic copper base and a POM acetal top, includes pre-installed brass standoffs, EPDM O-rings for sealing, and features integrated addressable D-RGB lighting compatible with standard 3-pin +5V headers.

How to use

Remove the stock cooler from the EVGA FTW3 RTX 3070 following the manufacturer’s disassembly procedure. Install the water block by aligning it with the card’s mounting points and secure it using the supplied screw-in brass standoffs and mounting hardware. Connect the 3-pin D-RGB cable to a +5V addressable header, ensuring the arrow aligns with the +5V marking. Integrate the block into a closed-loop liquid-cooling system using G1/4" fittings and verify there are no leaks before powering the system.

Recommendations

Use compatible G1/4" fittings, verify pump and radiator capacity to match the thermal load, and consider installing the recommended retention backplate for added passive cooling and mechanical support. Follow standard liquid-cooling leak-test procedures and manufacturer torque guidelines when fastening the mounting hardware.
