EK-Quantum Vector TUF RTX 3070 Backplate - Nickel is a CNC-machined retention backplate made from nickel-plated aluminium, designed to fit the EK-Quantum Vector TUF RTX 3070 D-RGB - Nickel + Plexi water block. It spans the full length of the graphics card PCB, providing structural support and passive cooling for components on the card's rear side.

Advantages

The nickel-plated aluminium construction offers corrosion resistance and a uniform finish that matches EK Vector TUF components. By covering the PCB lengthwise, the backplate adds rigidity to the graphics card and contributes passive heat dissipation for the VRM area, GPU core backside and VRAM. The package includes the backplate, mounting mechanism and thermal pads required for installation (backplate screws are stored in a separate compartment).

How to use

Align the backplate with the rear of the graphics card PCB and place the supplied thermal pads where required between the backplate and component contact points.
