EK-Quantum Torque Compression Ring 6-Pack HDC 14 - Satin Gold is a precision-machined aluminium locking ring designed for use with EK-Quantum Torque HDC 14 series fittings. This product is not a standalone connector: it requires an existing Torque fitting with a barb to function. The set contains six compression rings with a satin gold finish suitable for reinforcing and finishing soft or rigid tubing connections on compatible fittings.

Advantages

The compression ring secures the tubing by compressing the rubber gasket beneath it, preventing the tube from being pulled out of the fitting. Grooves on the outside provide improved grip for hand tightening. Cutouts in the ring follow EK Quantum’s signature pattern to reveal the coloured aesthetic ring that is installed on the fitting before the compression ring. The rings are CNC-machined from aluminium and finished in satin gold. They are sold in a 6-piece pack for multiple fittings or spare parts.

How to use

Install the coloured aesthetic ring onto the EK-Quantum Torque HDC 14 fitting first (aesthetic ring sold separately). Slide the rubber gasket and tube over the fitting barb, then place the compression ring over the gasket and hand-tighten using the external grooves to compress the gasket evenly. Ensure the tube is seated correctly and the gasket is compressed to form a secure seal. Do not use the compression ring as a standalone connector; it must be used together with the corresponding Torque fitting and barb.

Recommendations

Check compatibility with EK-Quantum Torque HDC 14 fittings before purchase. Hand-tighten the compression ring to avoid over-compression of the gasket; inspect seals after initial system fill and during routine maintenance. Store unused rings in a dry environment to preserve the finish.
