How to use

Mount the access point in a central, elevated location for best coverage. Connect the EAP787 to your network switch or PoE injector using the Ethernet port; use an 802.3bt PoE source to enable full 10G capabilities and simplify cabling. Use the Omada SDN controller (cloud or local) for one‑click setup, firmware updates and centralized configuration. Configure SSIDs, security (WPA3 recommended where supported) and network policies via the controller, then validate coverage and roaming behavior across deployment areas.

Recommendations

Place the unit away from large metal objects and microwave sources; enable the dedicated spectral analyzer to detect interference and use Omada Mesh for extending coverage where wired backhaul is not possible.
