How to use

Install a compatible SATA hard drive up to the supported capacity, connect the NVR to your network via the RJ-45 port, and attach cameras using either VIGI automatic discovery or ONVIF-compliant camera connection. Use the HDMI output for local 4K monitoring and connect a USB mouse or storage device to the USB 2.0 ports for local control and export. Configure recording schedules, motion zones, patrol routes and alert settings through the NVR UI, web UI or VIGI app.

Recommendations

For reliable continuous recording, use a NAS-certified or surveillance-grade SATA HDD and verify the drive capacity against your required retention period. Ensure cameras connected are ONVIF-compliant if not VIGI brand to avoid compatibility issues. Regularly check firmware updates on the VIGI app or client to maintain compatibility and security.
