The Avision AD215L ADF Manual feed scanner is a versatile document scanner combining an automatic document feeder and a front manual tray for cards and single sheets. It scans at up to 20 pages per minute (40 images per minute duplex) and accepts documents up to legal size (8.5 x 14 in / 216 x 356 mm). The scanner uses a CIS sensor with LED illumination and offers an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, color depth up to 48-bit, a 20-page ADF capacity and a maximum scan length of 3 m for long documents. It supports duplex scanning, connects via USB 2.0 and is suitable for office workflows that need reliable, space-efficient scanning.

How to use

Load multi-page documents into the 20-sheet auto document feeder or place single pages and plastic cards into the front manual tray. Use the bundled Button Manager V2 software to create one-touch scan profiles that send output to PDF, searchable PDF, JPEG, Word, Excel or directly to e-mail, printer or cloud services. The scanner will automatically detect document size, deskew and orient images. For mobile scanning, install the optional Wi‑Fi module and connect your mobile device to initiate scans and receive images.

Recommendations

For best results use paper within the specified weight range (27–105 g/m²), clean the scanning glass and feed rollers periodically, and avoid feeding severely creased or folded documents. Use the front tray for plastic ID cards and embossed cards up to 1.25 mm to ensure correct capture.
