How to use

Place original documents into the 100-sheet ADF or position single items for flatbed-style feeding as needed. Use the LCD panel to select a destination, profile or preset (up to nine presets can be stored) and press the Scan button to start. The scanner’s image processor will crop, deskew and optimise images automatically; use included TWAIN/ISIS drivers and bundled software (Button Manager, AVScan, PaperPort) to configure scan formats, create searchable PDFs, or send scans to e-mail, print or cloud services. For embossed cards, feed them in the orientation recommended by the manufacturer and verify the card thickness setting if applicable.

Recommendations

Use the ultrasonic multi-feed detection for most mixed-batch jobs to reduce double feeds, and disable it when scanning documents with labels, adhesive notes or tapes. Regularly clean the CIS module and paper path, and keep the reverse roller area free from dust to maintain feeding reliability.
