How to use

Place documents in the 100-sheet ADF or on the flatbed for single pages or bound material. Use the built-in 1.77" LCD to select a destination preset or configure scan settings on the computer via bundled Button Manager V2. Press the Scan button to start; scanned images can be sent to a folder, e-mail, image-editing application, or cloud services such as Google Drive, Evernote, Dropbox and SharePoint. For long documents, load the page carefully and select the long-document scan option in the software.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use recommended paper sizes and thicknesses, remove staples or paper clips before scanning, enable ultrasonic double-feed detection for mixed batches, and periodically clean the CIS sensor and rollers following the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions.
