We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.

The Brother ADS-4900W is a high-performance ADF and sheet-fed scanner designed for uninterrupted high-volume batch scanning. It supports wired and wireless 5 GHz connectivity, USB 3.0 and USB host, and includes a dedicated user touchscreen. With a dual CIS sensor, 600 x 600 dpi optical resolution and an ADF capacity of up to 100 sheets, it is suitable for secure capture and distribution of business documents in office or remote environments.

Advantages

The scanner offers fast duplex scanning at up to 60 pages per minute and includes an ultrasonic multifeed detector to prevent misfeeds. A separation switch allows reliable feeding of very thick or thin documents, plastic cards and crumpled paper. Advanced image processing features—such as automatic vertical streak and moiré reduction, digital imprinter and blank page removal—improve image quality and reduce file size. Brother ScanEssentials software and support for industry-recognised packages (Kofax, Newsoft) add workflow and security options, including password protection, barcode/metadata reading and multiple file format export.

How to use

Load documents into the automatic document feeder (up to 100 sheets) and select a user profile or shortcut on the touchscreen for one-touch scanning. Choose destination and file format through the ScanEssentials interface or the supported network/software options. For mixed media, set the separation switch as needed; use the optional external card reader for authentication and tap-to-scan workflows. The scanner will perform duplex capture, apply image processing and save or send files according to the selected workflow.

Recommendations

For best results, use A4-sized documents where possible, remove staples and large paper clips before scanning, and enable the ultrasonic multifeed detection and blank page removal to reduce errors and file sizes. Regularly clean the CIS sensors and ADF rollers according to the maintenance guide to maintain image quality and feed reliability.
