How to use

Install the SD-4617 beneath or beside your POS terminal and connect the included RJ12 cable to the cash register or receipt printer to enable automatic opening. The drawer can also be unlocked and opened manually using the 2-position lock. Organize banknotes in the six adjustable note compartments and coins in the eight cups; store coupons and slips in the media slot. For quick counting, remove the entire tray to use with compatible counting devices such as the Safescan 6185 money scale.

Recommendations

For shift changes or high-volume operations, keep a spare 4617T tray and a 4617L lockable lid on hand. When using the Safescan 6185, removable coin cups (4617CC) speed up till counting by allowing each cup to be weighed directly on the scale without recalibration.
