The InLine® USB Display Converter offers maximum flexibility thanks to its bidirectional function. It supports both the connection of devices with a USB-C interface (Thunderbolt 3/4, USB4, DP Alt Mode) to a monitor with a DisplayPort input and, conversely, the connection of a DisplayPort output to a USB-C display device.
Thanks to its support for DisplayPort 1.2 and 1.4, the converter enables resolutions up to 8K@60Hz and is backward compatible with 4K@240Hz, 4K@165Hz, 4K@144Hz, 4K@60Hz, 2K@240Hz, and 2K@144Hz. With HDR support (HDR10, HDR400, HDR10+, Dolby Vision) and technologies such as Adaptive Sync, FreeSync, and G-Sync, it is ideal for multimedia and gaming.

How to use

Connect the converter to a USB-C device or a DisplayPort source depending on the required direction. Use a USB-C cable that meets USB 3.2 specifications or better; for USB4/Thunderbolt 4 devices and the highest resolutions use a cable compliant with USB4/Thunderbolt 4. The maximum recommended cable length is 3 m; for 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz and higher, limit the cable length to 2 m for reliable signal transmission. The device is plug-and-play and normally does not require driver installation.

Recommendations

For best results at 8K@60Hz or high refresh-rate 4K modes, use a certified USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 cable no longer than 2 m and ensure connected devices support the required DisplayPort version and HDR/Adaptive Sync formats.
