The InLine® USB 3.2 Gen.1 active cable with USB-C connectors on both ends was developed for professional use to reliably transfer data over longer distances. Thanks to the integrated electronics, the signal is actively amplified so that consistently high data quality is achieved even with cable lengths of up to 15 meters.
The cable supports a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gb/s, making it ideal for applications that require a stable and fast connection between two USB-C devices, such as docking stations, monitors, external hard drives, measuring devices, or audio/video components.
Thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen.1 standard, the cable remains backward compatible with older USB versions and offers maximum flexibility in use. Variants with an included power supply also enable the supply of energy-intensive devices and ensure constant performance even with high data loads.

How to use

Connect the USB-C male connector on one end to the host device (PC, laptop or hub) and connect the other USB-C male connector to the target device (external drive, printer, webcam, etc.). For cable lengths of 10 m or longer, connect the included external plug-in power supply to a mains outlet and the cable’s power input to ensure stable operation. The cable supports hot-plugging, so devices can be connected or disconnected while systems are running.

Recommendations

Use the supplied external power supply for runs of 10 m or longer and avoid connecting multiple active extensions in series, as this product is not designed for cascading. Keep the cable free from sharp bends and avoid placing heavy objects on it to maintain signal integrity.
