We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.

The display offers a brightness of up to 935 cd/m², so that the content displayed on the screen is clearly visible even in very bright environments.

Smart sensors

A proximity sensor turns the screen off after a while when it detects no one in the environment, an ambient light sensor adjusts the screen brightness when ambient light changes, and a temperature sensor linearly controls the fan speed, cooling the monitor when the temperature rises, resulting in energy savings and extends the durability of the product.

The monitor offers comprehensive protection against various ambient conditions. With UV resistance and IP65 protection, it is safeguarded against sunlight and resulting in dust and water resistance from the front. Additionally, it can operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -20˚C to 60˚C, making it capable of withstanding large temperature variations.

This special Nano coating ensures a smoother touch and less resistance in the swipe. It makes the screen less static and susceptible to dirt, dust, fingerprints and it improves the clarity of the content displayed on the screen.

Open frame brackets

This open frame monitor can be equipped with optional external mounting brackets. It guarantees easy installation and makes it an ideal solution for kiosk integrators and In-store Retail.

How to use

Install the display in the required orientation (landscape, portrait or face-up) and, if needed, attach the optional OMK5-1 external mounting brackets for secure mounting. Connect power and signal cables following the integrator or installer instructions. Configure sensor settings so the proximity sensor can turn the screen off when not in use and the ambient light sensor can adjust brightness automatically. Ensure the installation site meets the operating temperature range and provides appropriate ventilation for cooling when required.

Recommendations

For outdoor or semi-outdoor installations, position the display to minimize direct exposure to extreme weather despite its IP65 front protection and UV resistance. Regularly clean the glass surface with a soft, lint-free cloth and non-abrasive cleaner to maintain the anti-fingerprint and anti-glare properties. Use the optional OMK5-1 brackets for secure, long-term mounting in kiosks and high-traffic environments.
