We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

The M5 chip delivers a transformative performance boost, with a Neural Accelerator in every GPU core for ultra-fast AI (up to 9.5x faster LLM prompt processing than the M1 Air, up to 4x faster than the M4 Air and up to 3.8x faster than an Intel Core Ultra X7 PC laptop) in a quiet, fanless design. Battery life is up to 18 hours, with fast charging to 50% in 30 minutes. At just 1.23 kg and 11.5 mm thin, the recycled-aluminium enclosure uses over 50% recycled materials. The Liquid Retina display supports one billion colours, 500 nits brightness, the wide P3 colour gamut and True Tone. It has a Center Stage camera with automatic framing and Desk View, a three-microphone array and a Dolby Atmos speaker system with 3D Audio. Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a MagSafe charging connector, a headphone jack for high-impedance headphones, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 via the Apple N1 chip, and support for up to two external displays. It runs macOS Tahoe with Liquid Glass, Spotlight, Live Translation, iPhone integration and Apple Intelligence, with Touch ID security. Note: there is no right of cancellation for configure-to-order goods made to the customer's individual specification, identified by 'CTO' in the manufacturer number.
