How to use

Connect the HDMI source (for example a media player or PC) to the VE1830T transmitter’s HDMI input, and connect the display to the VE1830R receiver’s HDMI output. Link the transmitter and receiver with a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable no longer than 35 m. Plug the transmitter into its 12 V power supply; if PoC is supported and enabled, the receiver will be powered from the transmitter over the Cat cable. Ensure HDMI cables and source/display settings support the targeted 4K resolution and HDCP 2.2 where required.

Recommendations

For best results use high-quality Cat6 cable and keep cable runs within the specified 35 m. Verify that connected HDMI devices support HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2 for full 4K compatibility; when using PoC, ensure the transmitter power supply is adequate to power both units.
