AV transmitter Lindy 4K60 HDMI and USB SDVoE Transceiver

The Lindy 4K60 HDMI and USB SDVoE Transceiver is an AV transmitter designed for distribution of uncompressed 4K60 video, USB, audio, IR and RS-232 signals over a 10G network. It supports HDMI 2.0b and SFP+ connectivity and can be configured as an encoder or decoder within an SDVoE installation. The unit accepts copper Cat6 (or above) cabling for up to 100 m or an SFP+ fibre module (not included) for longer or fibre-based links, and requires a 10 Gigabit network to operate.

How to use

Install the transceiver as either an encoder or decoder in your SDVoE network and connect it to a 10G network switch using Cat6 (or above) cable for copper connections, or insert a compatible SFP+ fibre module for fibre links (SFP+ not included). Connect HDMI, USB and audio devices to the respective ports. Configure routing, video wall and multiview layouts using the Lindy SDVoE Controller web interface or a third-party SDVoE controller with API support. Ensure the switch and network infrastructure provide 10 Gigabit bandwidth for correct operation.

Recommendations

Use high-quality Cat6 or Cat6a cables for copper connections and verify 10G switch compatibility. For long-distance or fibre-based links use a compatible SFP+ module. Reserve sufficient network capacity for uncompressed 4K streams, and manage the system with the Lindy SDVoE Controller or an API-capable SDVoE management platform to enable preview and drag-and-drop setup.
