The CS72D 2-Port USB DVI KVM Switch allows you to control two computers using one USB mouse, USB keyboard and Digital Visual Interface (DVI) monitor console. It supports digital video devices, such as fl at panel displays, data projectors, plasma displays and digital TVs.

The CS72D comes with ATEN’s Video DynaSync™ technology, which eliminates boot-up display problems and optimizes resolution; it carries several convenient features, such as Power On Detection, 2.1 channel audio capability and USB2.0 peripheral sharing, as well as provides quick and easy methods to access computers.

How to use

Connect the included custom KVM split cable from the CS72D to each computer's DVI‑D, USB and audio ports, then attach your DVI monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse to the console ports. Power is supplied via the connected computers (bus‑powered), so no external power adapter is required. Switch between connected systems using the front‑panel pushbutton, configured hotkeys on the keyboard or by enabling mouse switching.

Recommendations

For best video performance, use high‑quality DVI‑D cables and ensure connected displays support the target resolution (1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz). If audio or USB 2.0 peripheral sharing is required, verify that the connected computers provide the necessary USB 2.0 support.
